Business plan development*: A business plan is a summary of how a business owner, manager, or entrepreneur intends to organize an entrepreneurial endeavor and implement activities necessary and sufficient for the venture to succeed. It is a written explanation of the company's business model for the venture in question. Business plans are used internally for management and planning and are also used to convince outsiders such as banks or venture capitalists to invest money into a venture. The process of planning, through which the entrepreneur, owner or manager gains a greater understanding of the business, is often of great value.

Financial model development: Financial models assist in decision-making by quickly allowing the user to change assumptions and see the impact on cash, profitability and performance ratios. Excel models can be used to generate budgets or proforma financial statements for use in business plans and other documents.

Financing support: This includes developing strategies for financing, including determining the best type of financing to pursue, providing contacts and introductions to financiers, actively participating in meetings with financiers and documentation support.

Risk assessment and management: Generally, risk management is the process of measuring, or assessing risk and developing strategies to manage it. Strategies include transferring the risk to another party, avoiding the risk, reducing the negative effect of the risk, and accepting some or all of the consequences of a particular risk.

Operations optimization: Organizational structures and processes can be optimized to improve customer service and reduce costs. Improving processes can be done through methods such as storyboarding and process mapping. Organizational structures can also be mapped and analyzed. This can be done for an entire organization or one functional department. ERP and Systems Support and Implementation: Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERPs) integrate (or attempt to integrate) all data and processes of an organization into a single unified system. A typical ERP system will use multiple components of computer software and hardware to achieve the integration. A key ingredient of most ERP systems is the use of a single, unified database to store data for the various system modules.

Facilitation (business): Facilitation in consensus decision-making refers to the process of designing and running a successful meeting.

Facilitation (teaching): Refers to adult education.
